OBJECTIVES OF THE EDMONTON RINGETTE CLUB
A. General Objective
The object of the Edmonton Ringette Club is to develop and promote in Edmonton highly skilled and competitive ringette athletes in a positive and safe environment of teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
B. Specific Objectives
The specific objects of the Edmonton Ringette Club are:
1. To provide high quality on-ice and off-ice training and coaching for development of the ringette athletes.
2. To recruit, develop, and maintain quality coaches and to encourage and develop quality coaches from within the Club.
3. To promote lifelong love for the game of Ringette.
4. To encourage respect for teammates, coaches, parents, officials, and opposing teammates.

The Edmonton Ringette Club has taken the pledge to the Responsible Coaching Movement. By making this pledge, the ERC has committed to supportive policies and processes that adhere to the three key areas of focus in Phase 1, ensure the safety and protection of our athletes and coaches, and provide our coaches with the tools and training necessary to model ethical behaviour.
