Fund Raising for Cancer Research

Gayle Shaw was a great supporter of Ringette. She saw the joy & fun that Ringette brings to so many of us, and worked tirelessly to ensure her daughter, teammates, and future generations of Elite athletes had opportunities to develop their skills and experience, and create amazing memories at the same time.  At the Gayle Shaw Memorial Fun Day, the ERC celebrates her legacy and we invite all Edmonton & area Ringette athletes to come out and have some fun! Gayle was taken from us fighting cancer, so we find it only fitting that we raise funds for cancer research - and to show our support for victims of cancer while playing the game that Gayle loved so much.  There is no cost for athletes to register for the Fun Day, but we do ask participants collect donations for the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

More importantly, $8104 was raised for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Thank you all for your support of this great cause.
