On June 9 the Government of Alberta announced that contact sports which would include ringette is permitted in phase 2 but competition would be local and within a mini league with only 50 participants maximum including athletes, team staff and officials. It is unclear when phase 3 will come into effect and what restrictions will be in place for our sport with phase 3.
We will need to wait and hear from the City about the opening of arenas and use of the arenas and also to hear from Ringette Alberta and Ringette Canada as well.
We have delayed accepting registrations for Evaluations until we have more information in the next few weeks so please check back on our website. We will also provide further emails on registration for the season in the next few weeks.
