COME TRY OUT FOR EDMONTON AA RINGETTE

Please register early for Evaluations as this helps a great deal with planning for Evaluations and for the season.   August 15 would be a preferred date to have most of the registrations for Evaluations.

Be sure to select the 2021/2022 Season to locate the Evaluation & Warm Up Skate Packages.  Registration process now includes all of the required Ringette Alberta waivers.  These forms are managed and only accessible by Ringette Alberta staff, local association staff are only able to view and report on form completion for their registered athletes.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

1) Depending on the number of athletes who attend, evaluations may be extended into September - no additional fees will be applied.  Participants will be notified at the arena, and a follow up email will be sent.

2) ERC may host a second U19 team (division to be confirmed through evaluations, but likely U19A) depending on the number of Edmonton athletes who attend Evaluations.  Ringette Alberta will be offering Flex Ringette for U16/U19 which will reduce the number of athletes looking to play at a Classic/Excellence commitment level, so in collaboration with Edmonton Federation, we will be looking to ensure those athletes looking for a challenging/development program are given the opportunity.  I will send updates to the U19 Evaluation participants as we finalize registration numbers.

2021/2022 Season Registration Fee:  $975.00

Additional costs directly covered by the parents include travel and accommodation expenses, ERC game pants, and apparel costs.  Teams fund expenses which include tournament registrations, non-parent coaches' travel and accommodation expenses, dryland and powerskating costs, team travel expenses for some tournaments (team bus or vans), team tournament meals/nutrition, and team building activities and events through team cash calls, team fundraising initiatives (such as sponsors, FlipGive, pub night, bottle drives, raffles, etc.), and club fundraising initiatives (Wood Tournament silent auction and raffle baskets, WestJet raffle).

Season Registration Information:

  • Edmonton residents may register on the Federation / EFCLRA website but please note that the fee will be lower than the ERC fee and if your athlete is selected for an ERC team, there will be a top-up fee for the remainder of the registration fee.  Click here for the link to the registration page.

  • Non-Edmonton residents are required to bring a cheque to the first evaluation skate for the registration fee of $975.00 made payable to the Edmonton Ringette Club.  The cheque will be destroyed if the player is not selected for the team.  Please note that we are not certain what the RAB guidelines will indicate in regards to athletes from outside the Edmonton health region being permitted to play with the ERC.
